50 percent discounts for the Algerian community Dar “Osama” represents Algeria at the Cairo International Book Fair – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Dar “Osama” for publishing and publicity is participating in the Cairo International Book Fair in its 54th session, with a group of modern publications for children, at the level of the third hall, booth D26.

Dar Osama, which specializes in children’s books and educational and recreational games, announced discounts of up to 50 percent for the Algerian community in Egypt, to enable them to purchase locally made products such as educational books and games due to the lack of Algerian participation in international exhibitions, especially Arabic ones.

The general manager of Dar Osama for Publishing and Publication, Mr. Osama Bounaqa, considered in a statement to Al-Hiwar newspaper that taking the step of participating in the Cairo Book Fair came as a result of his great confidence in the quality of his institution’s products that live up to international standards in terms of content and form, which enables them to compete with Arab products. With all the strength and honor of Algeria, and also in order to provide an opportunity for the Arab reader who is thirsty for the Algerian book and to see it.

In the same context, he added: “Through our participation in the Cairo Book Fair, we try as much as possible to represent Algeria in the best way. We do not seek material profit as much as we seek to be the best ambassador for our ancient country culturally and civilized, so we dedicated the “Algerian Flags” series as a special gift to visitors. Our wing, for everyone who is curious or wants to learn about the history of Algeria and its heroes, such as Emir Abdelkader, Sheikh Ibrahimi, Abdelhamid bin Badis and others, we offer him free story books so that we can make them happy and leave a good impact.”

Regarding the assessment of the success rate of this participation, which is the first of its kind internationally, Mr. Osama Bounaqa expressed his pride in taking this step because it was successful in terms of sales numbers achieved by his organization despite his lack of experience. The real challenge was building relationships and learning the mechanisms of participation, but he It was finally boosted by achieving stimulating numbers in terms of sales.

The Director General of Dar Osama expressed his keen desire to convey the experience of his participation in the Cairo Book Fair to Algerian publishing houses that wish to participate in international exhibitions and find difficulties, saying: “A great country like Algeria deserves to be present in all international cultural forums and book fairs are very important to make our mark and register our presence, Through this experience, I became sure that the Egyptian reader has a great thirst for Algerian literature and books of thought, so he often asks about them as soon as he enters our booth.
