Today, Monday, Finance Minister Ibrahim Djamel Kasali expected, during the discussion of the Finance Law for the year 2023 in the National Assembly, that Algeria would record exports worth $7 billion outside of hydrocarbons by the end of the current year.
Kasali said that the geopolitical tensions negatively affected the world in all fields, and the state worked to preserve the purchasing power and continue the daily economic recovery.
He added that the economic revival aims to create wealth, the state has embarked on confronting the negative effects of the new finance law, the state has raised the challenges of promoting private investment to ensure growth, direct support and review of the networks of reference points in the amount of 311 billion dinars, the expectation of an increase in the growth of internal output outside fuel by 4.6 percent.
Kasali said that the reduction of duties and customs rights on the import of used cars that are less than three (3) years old. The customs of these cars is subject to a preferential tax system. Allowing the customs of electric cars is part of the approach adopted in the framework of the energy transition. The door to investment is open in the field of charging electric and hybrid cars.
