Today, Monday, at the cemetery of Sidi Lammar Cherif in Chorfa, in the wilaya of Bouira, the funeral of the late Said Chiban, former Minister of Religious Affairs, Dr. Said Chiban, took place.
The Minister of Mujahideen and People with Rights, Eid Rabika, the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of the National Archives and National Memory, Abd al-Majid Sheikhi, and the Dean of the Algiers Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad al-Ma’moun al-Qasimi al-Hassani, were present.
In a eulogy, the Minister of the Mujahideen and People with Rights said that the deceased was “a man of the nature of loyal and loyal men to the nation and the homeland, who devoted his life to the national cause from an early age.”
He added, “This great man, whom we bid farewell to today, and who grew up in the arms of the ancient school of patriotism + the Algerian Islamic Scouts, was a solid fighter in the national movement and a mujahid, so he was one of the first generation of students who joined the ranks of the liberation revolution, believing in its sanctity, so he was devoted to it heart and mold, racing to Carry the torch of November stokers.”
He concluded by saying that Sheikh Saeed Shayban “served Islamic thought with a vision that absorbed the various modern sciences” and had “a good reputation that we are all proud of.”
