The iron and steel complex “Tosyali”, which is located in Bettioua, Oran Province, announced that it achieved export revenues that exceeded 800 million dollars during the first nine months of 2022, according to what was learned today, Tuesday, at the complex.
Member of the Board of Directors, Alp Topkyoglu, explained that the “Tosyali” complex exported more than 1.1 million tons of iron products, with a slight increase compared to the same period last year, with revenues exceeding $800 million.
These products, represented in particular in construction iron, wires, steel balls, corrosion-resistant spiral tubes, and others, were exported from the ports of Oran, Arzew, and Mostaganem to countries from Europe, North America, Latin America, and Africa, as indicated.
The “Tosyali” company aspires to export 1.5 million tons of various iron products and reach $1 billion in export revenues during the current year, knowing that more than $700 million in revenues were achieved during the past year from its export activities, according to the same source.
The complex also seeks, during the year 2023, to export about 3 million tons of iron products while meeting the needs of the local market, according to a member of the board of directors.
