Today, Tuesday, in Algiers, a twinning agreement was signed between Algerian universities and the Canadian University in Dubai in the framework of strengthening cooperation and exchange relations between the two sides.
This agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, between six (6) Algerian universities and the President of the Canadian University in Dubai, Professor Karim Shelli, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdul Karim Ben Tliss.
In a statement to the press, Mr. Ben Tliss indicated that this agreement includes the universities of Algiers 1 and 2, Khemis Miliana, Chlef, Bouira and Blida 2, pending “the signing soon of another agreement with universities specialized in science and technology.”
The same official added that this agreement is related to “exchanges in the field of competencies, researchers and professors, as well as organizing high-level forums and meetings.”
