Inauguration of the members of the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law – Algerian Dialogue

Today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, Abd al-Rashid Tabbi, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, in his capacity as head of the National Commission for International Humanitarian Law, supervised the installation of the members of the Commission in its new mandate, according to a statement by the Ministry of Justice.

This committee is formed – the statement adds – of 24 members representing various ministries and national bodies. It is concerned with promoting human rights in Algeria in its aspect related to international humanitarian law in cooperation with international and regional organizations and national committees of other countries, especially by training executives working in various sectors concerned with the application of this law, to In addition to expressing an opinion on the ratification of relevant international agreements and treaties, and proposing appropriate measures to adapt national law to its provisions.
