The need to conduct a sociological study of drivers to reduce these accidents
In order to reduce these accidents, the head of the Information and Awareness Office of the General Directorate of Civil Protection, Captain Nassim Bernawi, believes that sociological studies of the driver’s mentalities must be carried out, referring to the various measures approved by the President of the Republic that are in the process of reducing these accidents.
According to citizens, “addiction to speed, using the phone and performing dangerous maneuvers” are among the main reasons for these accidents.
Algeria witnessed a significant increase in traffic accidents during the year 2022, with frightening numbers of human victims and material losses, which call for radical solutions to eliminate this phenomenon.
