The photographer, Adolfo Kaminsky, who was one of the most prominent supporters of the Algerian cause during the national liberation revolution, died the day before yesterday, Monday, in Paris, at the age of 97, according to his relatives.
The late Kaminsky was a talented photographer, as well as a “skilled copycat” for the French resistance against Nazism, and a great supporter of the Algerian cause and many liberation movements around the world.
And through his commitment to support the cause of Algerian independence, this photographer has joined the networks of Johnson and Coriel, who were ensuring the logistical side of the National Liberation Front during the liberation revolution.
Adolfo Kaminsky, who was nicknamed the “Paris imitator”, provides fake documents for the National Liberation Front militants, as well as for many national liberation movements in both Latin America and Africa.
In the seventies, the traveler landed in Algeria, where he resided for nearly ten years before returning to France.
And in the year 2009, his daughter Sarah dealt with his life in a book entitled “Adolfo Kaminsky, the life of a document copycat”, thus shedding light on the activity of the “Paris copycat”, one of the heroes of humanity in the twentieth century.
