President Tebboune supervises the inauguration of the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Barky – Al-Houwar Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, supervised today, Thursday in Algiers, the official inauguration of the new Baraki stadium, which bears the name of the late “Nelson Mandela”, former leader of the African National Congress and former president of South Africa.

President Tebboune said during his inauguration of the Baraki stadium: We congratulate the Algerian youth for this great sports edifice. The July 5 stadium will be expanded and covered. New stadiums will be built in Bechar, Ouargla and Constantine. These stadiums we are building for Algerian youth and to raise the level of our athletes.
President Tebboune added: I told the FIFA president that he can organize European and international matches in Algeria. Nelson Mandela is a symbol of liberation and he considers himself Algerian.
