The two stars, who have dominated most individual prizes and set records for more than 15 years, exchanged friendly smiles in a competitive match between them, during which Ronaldo scored two goals, while Messi scored a goal.
The match, organized by the Saudi Entertainment Authority, ended with Paris Saint-Germain winning 5 goals to 4 for the “Riyadh Season” team, which included stars from Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr.
Yesterday’s meeting was the thirty-seventh that brought the two stars together against each other, as 17 valid matches ended with a victory for the team that Messi plays with, compared to 11 wins for Ronaldo.
In the direct confrontations between them, Messi succeeded in scoring 23 goals and making 12, while Ronaldo scored the same number and made one goal. The two stars published, on their official pages, pictures of the friendly meeting between them.
