The Mediator of the Republic, Majid Amour, announced that the administration will take care of nearly 60 percent of citizens’ petitions in the year 2022.
Oberza Amor, yesterday, Thursday, recorded his authority with a “positive outcome” regarding the response to these petitions and their treatment.
In an intervention during the government-governors meeting held at the Palais des Nations, the spokesman said that the mediation of the Republic “received during the year 2022 more than 62 thousand petitions, 56 thousand of which relate to notifications of citizens about their outstanding files in public administrations and 6510 petitions related to concerns related to the path of local development.”
He pointed out that the processing touched more than 61,000 petitions, which reflects – as he said – “the response of the public administration to the notifications that were submitted through the mediation of the Republic.”
Amor added, “60 percent of these petitions were dealt with positively.”
And he reviewed “the reliable prospects for improving the service provided through public facilities and administrations, in accordance with the commitments of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at restoring citizen confidence and overcoming the negative practices that characterized the conduct of public affairs at an earlier time.”
In the same context, the Mediator of the Republic affirmed that “work is underway to double efforts in order to improve performance and reduce the response times for each petition that reaches the mediation, so that this is an indication of the good functioning of the public facility.”
