Today, Tuesday, the Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, was received at the Military Academy in Paris, by the Chief of Staff of the French armies, Thierry Burkhard.
A statement by the Ministry of National Defense stated that Lieutenant General Al-Said Chanegriha held talks with his French counterpart on ways to enhance military and security cooperation between the two countries.
Lieutenant General Chanegriha embarked, starting from yesterday, Monday, on an official visit to France, the first of its kind, in preparation for the state visit that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will pay to Paris next May.
Lieutenant General Shangriha’s visit to France came at the invitation of Lieutenant General Thierry Berkhard, Chief of Staff of the French armies. The visit falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the People’s National Army and the French armies and discussing issues of common interest.
