In addition to the “fruitful” talks that took place during these meetings in Yaounde and Douala, the mission signed a protocol establishing an Algerian-Cameroonian business council between the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cameroonian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts, in addition to an agreement to deepen cooperation between the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises and the employers’ association. Algerian dealers signed – according to the statement – 7 agreement protocols for the transfer of products (corn grains, coffee, cashew nuts, mangoes, pineapples, eggs and barley), and an agreement protocol with the professional association of Cameroonian contractors.
More than 30 public and private companies active in many fields participated in this economic mission, especially from the sectors of the food industry, construction, public works, pharmaceutical, household and electronic industries.
