Tomorrow, Wednesday, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, will participate in the work of the forty-seventh meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee of “OPEC” and non-OPEC members.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Araqab’s participation will be via video conferencing technology, in the work of the forty-seventh meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee of OPEC and non-OPEC members JMMC.
During this meeting, the committee will have to ensure compliance with the voluntary production limit commitments of the countries of the Declaration of Cooperation for the month of December 2022.
The ministers responsible for oil in the monitoring committee will also have to assess the conditions and prospects for the short-term development of the global oil market. The Joint Ministerial Committee among Member States consists of seven OPEC member countries, namely Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Nigeria and Venezuela, in addition to two non-member countries, namely the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
