Yesterday, Monday, the General Directorate of National Security organized a forum on partnership and strengthening security work with Interpol, in Algiers, with the participation of representatives of the various countries involved in the organization.
During this meeting, the Inspector General of Interests, Inspector General of the Police, Hajj Al-Saeed Arezki, valued the high levels to which the partnership and security coordination mechanisms with the International Criminal Police Organization “INTERPOL” have risen, which included many areas, such as scientific and technical police, crime control cross-border exchange of expertise and experiences through training forums and virtual and physical meetings.
On the sidelines of this forum, a field visit was scheduled for the participants to some of the operational departments of the National Security, where they were briefed on the functioning of the specialized units, as well as learning about the experience of the Algerian police in combating various forms of crime.
