Noureddine Ben Brahem: The National Observatory for National Society with a Modern Approach – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia


Noureddine Ben Brahem, head of the National Observatory for Civil Society, stressed during his supervision of the special session that it is necessary to have a real vision to highlight the role of competencies present in the National Observatory of Civil Society, in order to launch a national dialogue in which all segments of society participate without exception, with a modern and effective approach that embodies its role.

During his chairmanship of the forum today, Friday, Ben Brahm revealed that it was time to set up a committee that works to frame an agenda for the dialogue sessions of 58 states, which carries a vision of citizen involvement to form an effective approach that is efficient and serves the citizen in all aspects, as it is an important measure in the policy of good governance, which will be a gain in the next stage. Constitutional that enables civil society to play several roles, such as advocacy, representation, participation, issue, monitoring and project management.

A major official in the National Observatory for Civil Society highlighted that the work is not limited to agreements only, but rather goes beyond establishing a special directorate in the observatory to manage civil society resources and establish associations in shadow areas.

Special sessions were devoted to talking about the dialogue and its mechanisms and how to structure it at the national level and at the level of the observatory, and to review the organizational structures of the observatory.

On the sidelines of the activities, the report of the Membership Verification Committee was presented, and the most important axes of the President of the Republic were presented during the meeting with the government – the governors, and the session’s activities were completed. After consultation, the meeting concluded by launching a participatory approach with five axes, the most important of which is improving the legislative legal perspective of Algerian law after national consultation, in addition to public funding for projects and also building training capacities. And training, in addition to the positioning of civil society in civil and central governance, and finally the orientation towards international and regional action.
