Mulogi gives instructions to protect and preserve manuscripts from disasters – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Under the directives of the Minister of Culture and Arts, Suria Moulouji, and within the comprehensive cultural strategy that the Ministry of Culture and Arts is committed to preserving and preserving cultural property, and working to upgrade it in a way that serves Algerian culture and its human presence, and in order to activate these efforts in the field and discuss various ways to preserve the Algerian manuscript.

The National Library is organizing a scientific symposium on “Techniques for Protecting and Preserving Manuscripts from Disasters,” in addition to a training workshop on “Protecting and Preserving Manuscripts,” in Ain Salah on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of February, organized by experts in this field from the Algerian National Library.

In this context, the Minister of Culture and Arts gave directives requiring diligent work in this regard, which, insofar as it contributes to the preservation of valuable manuscripts cognitively and historically, will raise awareness of the importance of manuscripts, their preservation and not exposing them to damage or disasters to the desired level, especially among citizens who own these manuscripts. It also renews keenness and special attention on the need to continue programming these seminars and workshops to disseminate and disseminate the culture of protecting the Algerian manuscript, which remains the title of the authenticity of a nation, and a great pride of the Algerian cultural history, and the extent of its contribution to the human heritage.
