A new American plan in Libya to remove Saif al-Islam Gaddafi from the political scene

Libyan sources said that the United States of America will pursue a new plan through its embassy in Libya.
The sources added that the plan calls for holding parliamentary elections next October as a preliminary date under the heading of national elections.
The next parliament will choose a figure for the position of president of the country, without holding popular presidential elections.
The plan will be adopted by the Americans at the upcoming 5 + 2 + 2 meeting in Washington.
US Secretary of State Blinken informed the countries involved in Libyan affairs of this plan.
Blinkin informed the countries that the United States opposes holding presidential elections in Libya because of the presence of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi in the first place, and the presence of Khalifa Haftar to a lesser extent.
Some countries are dissatisfied with this plan, because they believe that the solution in Libya lies in holding simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections.
