The Minister of Youth and Sports, Abdel Razzak Sabkak, announced today, Thursday in Algiers, that it had been decided to review the regulatory texts governing the offices of youth institutions and multi-sport vehicles, and to assign a competent authority to review and embody the best formula, to meet the desires and needs of young people.
“It has been decided to review the regulatory texts guiding the bureaus of youth institutions and multi-sports complexes, which are considered administrative institutions whose financial management is determined within the framework of the annual budget,” Sabaq said during a public session devoted to oral questions at the National People’s Assembly.
And after he indicated that “the difficulties and deficiencies experienced by the bureaus and multi-sports vehicles were diagnosed, which affect the services they provide,” the minister explained that “it has become necessary to review the legal systems and replace them with new legal frameworks that would set the parameters for the embodiment of the sector’s policy to keep pace with The development of activities that express the needs and desires of young people.
And in response to a question about the date of receipt in the state of Jijel of the two semi-Olympic swimmers programmed in the municipalities of Taher and Milia and the municipality stadium of Kaous, Sobkak explained that “the swimming pool of the municipality of Taher, in which the works have advanced by 85 percent, will be delivered in May 2023, while the pool located in the municipality of Milia will be delivered The entire project, September 2023.”
And he added, “Two stadiums were registered in the same municipalities with a capacity of 5,400 seats, with the state budget to promote youth initiatives and sports practices, while a project for the completion of a multi-sports stadium in the municipality of Kaous was registered within the sector’s budget, and all procedures were agreed upon to start its completion.”
And in a question related to the frameworks of the youth and sports sector and the formula that allows them to preserve their rights to obtain promotion on the basis of a certificate, like other sectors, the minister explained that the youth and sports sector “guarantees the direct employment process for graduates of higher training institutions in the sector.”
In this regard, he mentioned that “the special basic law that governs the rank of promotion granted an exceptional license for promotion on the basis of a certificate to youth and sports executives who hold a post-graduation certificate – master’s and doctoral degrees – and the request was referred to the interests of the General Directorate of Public Service for study, and the result was approval.”
