President Tebboune allocated one billion dollars to fund development projects in African countries – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, decided to allocate one billion US dollars to the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, intended to finance development projects in African countries.
In a speech read by the Prime Minister, Ayman Ben Abdelrahman, at the 36th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, which continues its work today, Sunday, in Addis Ababa, the President of the Republic affirmed that this step comes from “Algeria’s conviction that security and stability in Africa are linked to development.”
In this regard, he said, “I decided to pump an amount of one billion US dollars in favor of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development to finance development projects in African countries, especially those of an integrated nature or those that would contribute to advancing development on the continent.”
