Last week, Sonatrach signed social investment agreements in the wilaya of Djelfa and the wilaya of Laghouat within the framework of the planned program for the development of isolated areas programmed at the level of 37 wilayas.
In the state of Djelfa, on February 28, 2023, an agreement was signed to finance the rehabilitation project for the road linking the municipality of Al-Bireen and Daiyat Al-Laban, a road that suffers from a very advanced degree of wear.
The Social Investment Program is the line of funding for this neighborhood project of public benefit to contribute to ending isolation and alleviating the residents of the region.
The second agreement was with the Directorate of Water Resources of the Wilaya of Laghouat. Its ceremony took place on March 01, 2023 at the headquarters of the Wilaya of Laghouat. It aims to finance a project to rehabilitate the wastewater pumping channel at the El-Khoukq station, located in the El-Khenika area. The process will contribute to the treatment of wastewater for reuse in various other purposes that benefit of which are static in the area.
