Lieutenant General Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, supervised the implementation of a tactical exercise with live ammunition in the operational sector south-east of Djanet in the 4th Military Region.
A statement by the Ministry of National Defense stated that the tactical exercise, carried out with live ammunition, aims to test the combat readiness of the Gant operational sector units, and their ability to carry out potential combat missions and control combat equipment and modern weapons systems.
According to the statement, the tactical exercise also aims to train commanders and staffs to prepare for defense, in addition to developing their knowledge in the field of planning, preparation, organization, implementation, and placing them in the atmosphere of the real battle. The combat actions were characterized by great professionalism in all stages with a high level tactical and operational performance.
