During the “CeraWeek” 2023 energy conference… Arkab sheds light on renewable energy development projects in Algeria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, participated, on Tuesday, in the “Informal IPIC Talks” meeting, in which many representatives of international and governmental companies active in the field of energy participated.

On this occasion, the minister referred to the investment opportunities and partnership provided by the energy sector in Algeria, especially the exploration, development and exploitation of hydrocarbons within the framework of the new hydrocarbons law, which provides many facilities and advantages for investors. Oil and gas, as well as the sector’s strategy to meet the national needs of natural gas and fulfill its obligations towards its customers in terms of export. The minister also shed light on projects to develop renewable energies in Algeria, such as the program to achieve 15,000 megawatts of solar energy in Algeria.
