Sidi Abderrahmane Thaali reopens its doors to visitors – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The mausoleum of “Sidi Abd al-Rahman al-Tha’alabi,” located in the ancient Kasbah district of Algiers, was recently reopened after undergoing a restoration process that restored its luster.

This landmark, which was founded in the 17th century, is considered one of the most famous spiritual landmarks in the capital and has always been highly appreciated by its residents, who have taken this jurist, the great scholar, and the righteous saint as the spiritual father of their city over the centuries.

This space, located in the upper reed, witnesses an influx of visitors of different ages, as many of them expressed their admiration for the new look that it has become, especially since it has great symbolism among the residents of the capital, and they toured the various landmarks of the place, especially the shrines.

The Wilayat of Algiers undertook the restoration of this complex, which is part of the preserved sector of the Kasbah of Algiers, with the support and technical supervision of the National Agency for the Preserved Sectors.
