Ali Aoun receives the President of the Algerian-American Business Council, Ismail Sheikhoun – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, received today, Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters, the head of the Algerian-American Business Council, Ismail Chikhoun, accompanied by a delegation from all the American laboratories that are active in Algeria.

During the meeting, the minister indicated his commitment to support the national industry in general and the pharmaceutical industry in particular.

In this context, the exchanges centered on the broad lines of the country’s industrial and pharmaceutical strategy, as well as the main strategic axes of the Algerian-American partnership, through the Rabeh-Rabeh partnership, through the development and upgrading of direct and joint investments, and the stabilization of American pharmaceutical laboratories through the localization of drug production, especially innovative and emerging ones. of vital technology with high added value, in addition to creating an environment conducive to technological transfer and supporting research, development and training.

Finally, the discussion also made it possible to study and examine the main difficulties faced by the American partners, and the various measures taken by the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production to respond to them, especially those aimed at facilitating innovative drug registration procedures and removing various administrative obstacles in the best interest of the Algerian patient and the national economy.
