On the occasion of the spring break, the Ministry of Culture and Arts is organizing open doors for cultural hangars, in order to develop and strengthen heritage education among young people and youth, and to diversify recreational heritage activities, according to a statement by the same ministry.
The open doors program, which will continue until next April 8, includes organizing a visit to the headquarters of the National Office to the cultural hangar of Tassili Azger and its affiliated museums in Djanet, Bordj El Hawass and Illizi, in addition to pedagogical visits framed by school children and drawing workshops.
The National Office of the Cultural Park of the Ahaggars will also be able to organize a visit to its headquarters and its affiliated museums in Tamanrasset and Ain Salah, as well as pedagogical visits framed by schoolchildren and drawing workshops.
On the other hand, a visit to the headquarters of the National Office was allocated to the cultural barn of Tindouf and the Umm Lassal Museum, and visits to the Ahmed Mehsas Museum in Tindouf were framed for schoolchildren.
In the same context, a visit to the headquarters of the National Office of the Cultural Park of the Saharan Atlas and the National Office of the Cultural Park of Tuat Guarara Tidiclet and their regional departments of a scientific nature were programmed, as well as drawing workshops for the benefit of students.
The statement indicated that the doors open to the cultural hangars aim to “develop and strengthen heritage education among young people and youth, and to diversify the recreational heritage activities in the sites open to visit within the regions of the cultural hangars.”
The statement highlighted that more than 1,000 students benefited from scientific-heritage lessons through many historical sites and monuments that abound in cultural hangars.
