Ataf receives a phone call from the Jordanian Foreign Minister – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Today, Sunday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, received a phone call from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, during which the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and prospects for their strengthening, according to a ministry statement.

And the statement stated: “Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Ataf, received a phone call from his brother, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Ayman Safadi, who congratulated him on his appointment at the head of Algerian diplomacy and exchanged blessings with him.” within the blessed month of Ramadan”.

According to the same source, the call constituted an opportunity to review bilateral relations and prospects for their enhancement, as the two ministers expressed their “satisfaction with the progress made in embodying the lofty directives of the leaders of the two countries, His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, especially with regard to the launch of The direct flight line between Algeria-Oman, the activation of the Economic Cooperation Committee, as well as the strengthening of exchanges between economic operators from both sides, and they also agreed on the need to schedule preparatory meetings for the upcoming bilateral benefits.

On the other hand, the two ministers discussed a number of issues that lie at the core of the priorities of joint Arab action, especially the Palestinian issue, and the challenges it faces, as well as efforts aimed at Arab reunification and restoring the Syrian Arab Republic’s status at the regional and international levels, the same statement adds.
