Yesterday evening, a group breakfast was held for the benefit of 442 foreign students, representing 27 nationalities studying in the universities of the state of Constantine, at the initiative of the Directorate of University Services, Ain El Bey.
The Director General of University Services, Faisal Henein, explained to the Algerian News Agency, on the sidelines of this group breakfast, which was hosted by the university residence Ain El Bey 3 for girls at the University of Salah Boubenider (Constantine-3) in the presence of the Governor of Constantine Abdel Khalek Souda, that the aim of this initiative is to “create a family atmosphere among foreign students, especially students of Islamic countries”, in addition to highlighting Algeria’s solidarity with university students of all nationalities.
This group breakfast is also part of the efforts made by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish a new approach in the field of marketing for studies in Algeria and to attract the largest number of foreign students in Algerian universities, according to the same speaker.
By the time of Iftar, foreign students gathered around the Iftar tables, accompanied by other Algerians, in a fraternal Ramadan atmosphere of solidarity. In addition to traditional sweets, which gave a family atmosphere that made foreign students forget their distance from their homes and families.
The Iftar tables and the university residence yard of Ain El-Bey 3 for girls at Salih Bobnaider University (Constantine-3) affiliated to the Directorate of University Services Ain El-Bey were decorated with the flags of the countries of the students invited to this collective iftar.
