The second ship arrived loaded with 2,500 heads of calves destined for slaughter, coming from Brazil, whose meat will be marketed at a fixed price of 1,200 DZD per kilogram, in order to enable consumers to purchase it at low prices.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, another ship loaded with more than 3,000 heads of calves destined for slaughter from the same country is expected to join within three days.
It is mentioned that fresh red meat, imported from the Democratic Republic of Sudan, will be offered in the large areas and points of sale of the Al-Jazira Red Meat Complex, starting today, Sunday, April 02, 2023, and the process of Islam will continue to deliver other shipments on a regular basis.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has established an electronic link “Agricultural Markets” that includes all points of sale distributed at the level of the national territory.
