Appointment of the local committee to organize sports – the Algerian dialogue

The local committee has been appointed to organize Arab sports, which Algeria will organize from 5 to 15 July 2023 in the states of Algiers, Constantine, Annaba, Oran, Tipaza and Tizi Ouzou, according to the interests of the state.

The governor of Constantine, Abd al-Khaliq Siouda, supervised the installation of this state committee, based on the instructions of the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, to set the road sheet for preparing the Arab League in its 15th edition.

And this committee will supervise “the task of organizing these games at the level of the state of Constantine, in terms of preparing and preparing all logistical and security conditions, sports structures, preparing the city, preparing accommodations, as well as ensuring the readiness of airports and delegations’ movements.”

This committee works to ensure coordination between all sectors and actors for the success of this Arab sporting event, which coincides with the conclusion of the activities of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Independence Day, which started since last July 5.

The organization of the Arab Sports Games for Algeria was entrusted by the Executive Office of the Arab Federation of Arab Olympic National Committees at a meeting last month in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

For reference, Algeria previously hosted the Arab Olympic Games in 2004.
