The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Faisal bin Talib, chaired today, Thursday evening, at the headquarters of his ministerial department, a coordination meeting via teleconference technology, which included both the ministry’s executives and the executives of the National Agency for Employment in addition to the state directors of operation and heads of the state branches of employment for the 58 states across the country.
The meeting was devoted to assessing the process of training beneficiaries of the unemployment grant in order to enable them to improve their employability by acquiring skills that allow them to enter the world of work.
In this regard, the Minister appreciated the efforts made by those in charge of the employment file at the local and central levels, recalling that the work on employment and job creation, which plays a pivotal role in stimulating development, is not only a technical and statistical process, but rather it is a noble work carried out by the labor sector. Employment and social security for the benefit of Algerian youth, to which the higher authorities of the country, headed by the President of the Republic, attach great importance.
On the other hand, the Minister reviewed the progress of the file of converting the contracts of beneficiaries from the Social Inclusion Assistance Agency into indefinite and part-time employment contracts, in addition to the Professional Inclusion Assistance Agency.
