The Minister of Communication spoke about the legal arsenal allocated to the media sector, which highlights the interest of the public authorities, led by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to develop and promote the press, on top of which is the organic law related to the media, which he said includes “important gains for journalists, especially with regard to work contracts.” Social security and the right to access information. On the other hand, the minister indicated that there are 60 accredited foreign media outlets in Algeria that work “with all freedom,” according to him, adding that there are constantly receiving accreditation requests that are studied before being approved.
