The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received today, Thursday, at the headquarters of his ministerial department, John Chrysostom Alintoma Nsambo, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to Algeria.
The talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of energy, investment opportunities and exchange of experiences, especially in the field of hydrocarbon exploration, production and transportation, refining and petroleum products, as well as in the field of production, transmission and distribution of electricity and training.
On this occasion, the Minister recalled Algeria’s desire to intensify exchanges with African countries, especially within the framework of the development strategy of the Sonatrach and Sonelgaz complexes, which aims to open them up to the African market. He also affirmed Algeria’s readiness to accompany Uganda by transferring its expertise and experience in these fields.
