The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, received today, Monday, the Portuguese Minister of Economy and the Sea, Antonio Costa Silva, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Algeria, Luis de Albuquerque Velozo.
A statement by the Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production stated that the meeting focused on the reality of economic and industrial relations and prospects and ways to develop and enhance them to rise to the level of political and historical relations between the two countries.
The two sides affirmed the will of their countries to enhance joint cooperation, especially in areas that constitute opportunities for partnership and cooperation between Algeria and Portugal, and their institutions, especially those related to emerging enterprises and the knowledge economy, the development of small and medium enterprises, renewable energies and the pharmaceutical industries.
The discussion also revolved around the most important guarantees, incentives and new advantages granted by the investment law to foreign investors, which will allow the strengthening of economic dynamism and mobility between the two countries.
