Upon its arrival, the delegation was received by the governor of the province, Ahmed Belhaddad, in the presence of Aqayer Anselm, head of the provincial people’s assembly, members of the security committee, deputies from the province of Illizi in the National People’s Assembly, Hanouni Mohamed and Ben Sebkak Ali, head of the Illizi district, head of the municipal people’s assembly of Illizi, directors The state executive council concerned with the visit.
After that, the delegation visited the Tijaniya Zawiya in the city of Illizi, where the members of the delegation had the opportunity to receive explanations about the role that the Zawiya plays within the community, and those in charge of it highlighted its effective contribution to preserving the memorization of the Holy Qur’an, and removing some obstacles.
On Thursday morning, the delegation, accompanied by the governor of the state, participated in the celebrations for the commemoration of the national anniversary of the Student’s Day, which falls on the 19th of May.
After that, the delegation examined the university center of Sheikh Amoud bin Mokhtar, in Illizi, which includes 05 institutes, where the total number of students registered in the center in the first and second rounds is 2040 students, and in the third round 18, and the number of graduate students has reached 643 students, and this is according to the pedagogical statistics for the year University 2022/2023. On the other hand, the head of the center, Mr. Boubaker Moussa, revealed to the members of the delegation that the university center will open new majors during the next academic year 2023/2024, represented in economics and institution management, a BA in English language, general sociology and other disciplines.
Not far from the center, the members of the committee inspected the university residence and some of the facilities inside it, where several shortcomings were recorded, the most important of which is functional housing, as the university services sector in Elysee did not benefit from any housing share, in addition to the problem of functional housing, and the University Services Directorate lacks utility vehicles on Similar to the rest of the directorates, while some representatives of the trade union branch of university services called for hiring additional workers to fill the registered deficit, especially in the field of feeding, maintenance and accommodation.
As for the education sector, the delegation visited Mubarak Al-Maili High School, which includes 16 rooms, 04 laboratories, a medical clinic and other facilities.
After that, the delegation visited the Houari Boumediene high school, which operates with an internal system, half an internal and an external system, where the delegation was briefed on the conditions of schooling for students, as it recorded the absence of sports facilities inside the secondary school, similar to the sports hall, which remained neglected for years and which is in urgent need of rehabilitation.
The delegation concluded its inspection by inspecting Al-Falah School in Tin Torah with an inspection of the school canteen and its keenness to provide school meals to the student in the best conditions, as well as the elementary school Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi, followed by the intermediate school of Sheikh Masoudi located in the southeast of Al-Ilizi, about 04 km from the municipality headquarters, which witnessed It was inaugurated in 2016. It consists of 16 study halls and 06 offices, including the office of the principal, the economist, and the counselor, in addition to two informants, a library for teachers and a veil. The middle school also includes 14 cohorts, of whom 195 are females and 237 are males.
In the end, the head of the delegation, Tayeb Ramadani, revealed that visiting and inspecting the sectors of education, higher education, scientific research and religious affairs is an accompaniment and support for these sectors in the state, while recording all deficiencies before submitting them to the guardian authorities. The head of the mission also noted the efforts of the President of the Republic to improve the education sector through decisions.
