Today, Friday, in Jeddah, Prime Minister Ayman bin Abdelrahman, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, handed over the presidency of the Arab Summit to Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the opening session of the Council of the League of Arab States at its 32nd session.
Upon his handover of the presidency, Algeria wished the Saudi Crown Prince all success in presiding over the Arab Summit. In turn, bin Salman said, by the way, at the opening of the Council, and thanked the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for his efforts during the presidency of the Arab Summit in its 31st session.
And in Jeddah, this Friday evening, the regular Arab summit in its thirty-second session kicked off with a speech by Prime Minister Ayman bin Abdul Rahman, in which he stressed the keenness to unify the Arab ranks, welcoming Syria’s return to the Arab League, and also called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and put An end to the Israeli settlement policy.
