This is what Saudi Arabia said about Zelensky’s presence at the Arab summit – the Algerian Dialogue

Today, Friday, the Saudi Press Agency published news about the arrival of the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, to Jeddah to attend the 32nd Arab Summit, without specifying the capacity in which the Ukrainian President will attend an “Arab Council.”

The Saudi statement was content with enumerating those who received Zelensky only in his capacity as President of Ukraine at King Abdulaziz International Airport, including Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and the Secretary of Jeddah Governorate, Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, and the Kingdom’s ambassador to Ukraine, Muhammad bin Suleiman Al-Jibreen, and a police director. Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Major General Saleh Al-Jabri, and the Undersecretary of Royal Protocols, Fahd Al-Sahil.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian president made a statement after his arrival in Jeddah on a French plane from Poland, in which he said that he “will meet with the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, on his first visit to the Kingdom, and that Saudi Arabia plays an important role, and that he is ready to transfer cooperation with it to other countries.” A new level, and that his visit to Saudi Arabia will deal with issues, including cooperation in the field of energy, and that his priorities are to discuss the Ukrainian peace formula, to end the Russian war.”
