The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani, was received by the President of the Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, accompanied by the Vice President of the Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
This reception came on the sidelines of the minister’s participation in the fourth session of the Algerian-Venezuelan intergovernmental committee for economic, commercial, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. On the 8th and 9th of June.
The occasion was an opportunity to discuss several issues and issues of concern to the two parties in order to enhance the horizons of partnership and cooperation between the two countries.
The minister praised the high level that characterizes the friendship and brotherhood relations between the two peoples. As they walk towards a better future.
For reference, the visit aims to consolidate and strengthen the existing relations between the two countries, which are of a very important nature in light of the historical relations of distinguished friendship between Algeria and Venezuela.
It is noteworthy that the meeting came in implementation of the decisions of the higher authorities that were taken during the bilateral summit that brought together the presidents of the two countries on the occasion of his friendship and work visit to Algeria in June 2022.
He was also received by the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Venezuela, Wilmar Castro Sotildo. This was in the presence of executives from the two countries, as well as the Algerian ambassador to Venezuela.
During this meeting, several issues and issues concerning the two countries were discussed, especially those related to the Algerian community in Venezuela. As well as facilitating investment for the Venezuelan side.
The minister also noted that Algeria, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its representation abroad, accompanies and facilitates all investment procedures in order to reach the highest levels of friendship and cooperation between the two parties.
