The Director of the Institute, Maryam Wanas, confirmed that the training in the Master of Electronic Banking Services and Secure Transactions offered by the Algerian Institute of Higher Financial Studies will allow the process of developing electronic banking services to be revitalized.
Wannas said: “This training falls within the framework of developing electronic banking services and secure transactions that play a pivotal role in the Algerian economy, allowing for facilitating commercial exchanges, accelerating payment processes and enhancing consumer confidence.”
Wannas indicated that the topics chosen by the students for their graduation notes “will culminate in recommendations that will benefit financial institutions and allow for a greater promotion of the development of electronic banking services in Algeria.”
And the Director of the Institute continued: “Among these topics, there is combating electronic banking fraud, mobile payment, or also payment via a quick response (QR) code, considering that it is related to technical and accurate topics that the training aims to generalize through training specialists in these fields.”
This training aims to “enable the financial sector executives with the necessary tools to follow the continuous development of electronic banking services,” adding that the institute contributes through these trainings to promoting financial integration and digitizing the financial sector.
In this regard, she mentioned that this training was provided with pedagogical support from a “reputable specialized school in electronic banking services” represented by the National Higher School of Engineers in Cannes (France), and under the supervision of the Automated Cash Group and the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions, noting that the institute seeks to launch a batch Again, you will follow the “Moheen” program.
For his part, the General Manager of the Automated Cash Pool, Majid Masoudan, explained that the aim of launching this training is to “obtain an elite at the bank level consisting of specialists in the field of electronic payment who are able to carry out projects at the level of their institutions in order to accelerate the development of this type of payment in Algeria.
He referred to the “coordinating” role played by the automated cash pool in this formation by allowing Algerian schools to obtain partnerships with schools of international reputation in order to form frameworks at the level of banks to carry out major projects in the field of developing electronic payment.
For his part, Faye Ndiaga, the pedagogical official for the master’s program in electronic banking services at the National Higher School of Engineers in Caen, considered that the level of Algerian students is “very acceptable”, which will allow them, as specialists in electronic banking services, “to provide advice to Algerian banks in their strategic options, especially acquisition of new services.
As for the Head of the Support Office Department of the Directorate of Electronic Banking Services of the National Bank of Algeria, Tahar Kasir, who benefited from this training, he confirmed that this training is “very useful and fruitful in the fields of electronic banking services and the management of projects and groups,” and it is one of the gains that he seeks to “apply in Future projects of the National Bank of Algeria.
It is noteworthy that this vocational training benefited about 30 executives from various Algerian banks and financial institutions who followed a two-year pedagogical program in the field of electronic banking services and secure transactions, the content of which focused on all theoretical and practical aspects.
