The Minister of National Education, Abdel Hakim Belaabed, affirmed that the state is determined to combat the phenomenon of drugs and psychotropic substances in all its aspects and aspects, by carrying out continuous awareness campaigns to mobilize the security of the school environment from this scourge that is eroding the social fabric in Algeria severely. What necessitated confronting it firmly by mobilizing all capabilities and means within all fields in order to undermine this cancer as required by the supreme interest of the country.
In this context, the minister revealed that Algeria is being subjected to a miserable and desperate campaign to flood it with drugs of all kinds, and it has become necessary to involve everyone in order to confront this conspiracy against the homeland.
By the way, he pointed out that the ministry has prepared a national sectoral plan targeting students of different educational levels, in order to protect the school environment from this scourge and to promote a culture of drug prevention among students, some of which have been embodied in reality and some that are planned in the future. During the last week of June, an awareness campaign about the dangers of this pest will be organized.
