The Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion registered a total of 52,397 merchants with the attendance system on the third day of Eid Al-Adha, according to a statement by the ministry, today, Friday.
The statement indicated that “within the framework of the established program to ensure continuity, throughout the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday, the Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion registered, today, Friday, the registration of 52,397 merchants who, during the third day of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, carried out their commercial activities across the entire national territory.”
As for the non-compliant merchants, it was recorded that “12 merchants did not adhere to the maintenance system, distributed over six wilayas, represented in Batna (3), El Oued (2), Mostaganem (3), Tlemcen (1), Skikda (1) and finally El Tarf, which I knew that two merchants were not restricted.
The Ministry extended its “great thanks to all the sector’s employees who were vigilant over the monitoring operations of the maintenance program for the third day of this blessed occasion, and for their continuous efforts.” It also extended “many thanks to all merchants and economic dealers.”
It is noteworthy that during the first day of Eid Al-Adha, 52,259 merchants carried out their commercial activities, while 66 merchants did not comply with the attendance system at the national level.
While 52,295 merchants carried out their commercial activities during the second day of Eid al-Adha, while 30 merchants did not adhere to the attendance system across the entire national territory.
The Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion has mobilized a total of 52,325 merchants in the framework of the maintenance program during Eid Al-Adha days to ensure the regular supply of citizens with products of wide consumption.
