Ataf is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, commissioned by President Tebboune – Al-Hiwar Algeria

Assigned by the President of the Republic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, arrived this evening in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, to be held on the fifth and sixth of July.
This meeting, which is hosted by the Republic of Azerbaijan due to its current presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement, is part of the periodic meetings that aim to enhance consultation and coordination among member states on various issues and challenges at the international and regional levels.
During his stay in the capital, Baku, Mr. Ahmed Ataf will pay a bilateral visit to the host country, where he is expected to hold talks with his Azeri counterpart and be received by the higher authorities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to assess the reality of relations between the two countries and study ways and prospects for strengthening them in various fields.
