A cooperation agreement between Houari Boumediene University and Algiers Post – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Today, Monday, the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology and the public institution Algiers Post signed an agreement – a framework for cooperation in the fields of training and applied research.
The document was signed by the President of the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology, Djamel Eddine Akrich, and the Director General of the Algiers Post, Louay Zaidi, in a ceremony organized at the university level.
Through this agreement, the two parties expressed their desire to “cooperate to facilitate and encourage university social and economic cooperation in the fields of training and applied research.”
The signatories to the document added that “the two parties, which are linked by a group of interests and goals, have a common interest in building and developing social and economic cooperation relations.”
The agreement stipulates, in particular, the reception of students within the framework of end-of-study internships and cooperation in applied research projects that meet the needs of the social and economic sector, in addition to the joint organization of meetings and forums and the exchange of information related to the needs of the social and economic sector.
Algeria Post is committed, according to the text of the agreement, to host intern students at the level of its various structures, to accompany the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology in training professors/researchers, and to also participate in the development of innovative solutions in the field of information and communication technologies.
For its part, the university undertakes to put at the disposal of Algeria Post its skills in the service of research and development activities related to innovative projects in the field of information and communication technologies and to involve Algeria Post in scientific and economic events organized for the benefit of students or professionals of the economic sector.
