A delegation from the National People’s Assembly led by the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Diaspora Committee, Salim Merah, met in the capital, Zagrab, with the Croatian Secretary of State for Culture, Zlatko Hasanbegovic, to discuss ways of cultural cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement of the Assembly.
The same source explained that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss “means of cooperation and exchange in the cultural field between the two countries.”
By the way, Mr. Merah gave a presentation on “the cultural diversity in Algeria, which is embodied in the customs and traditions and the diversity of the traditional industry that represents the Amazigh and Arab-Islamic mixture,” presenting “an official invitation to the Croatian party to participate in the various events organized by Algeria to introduce the Croatian culture.”
It is noteworthy that the delegation of the National People’s Assembly visited Croatia, from 23 to 26 May, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Croatian Parliament, Gary Capelli, according to the same source.
