A series of meetings at the Ministry of Higher Education to modernize the Algerian University – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced, in a statement today, Sunday, that “within the framework of the reforms initiated by the higher education and scientific research sector aimed at modernizing the university, especially at the pedagogical level, the work team in charge of this process, through the formation of committees for reflection and proposals, embarked on Holding meetings with the university family in order to ensure a broad involvement of these actors (professors, officials, students, social partners, parents of students and high school representatives), starting from Tuesday, January 17th, until Tuesday, the 31st of the same month.

The same source added that, in the light of these meetings, the initial results of this process will be presented regarding projects related to “reorganizing training fields, creating university poles, preparing a double degree, in addition to extending the bachelor’s training for four (4) years.”

And the statement concluded that “every meeting with the actors of the university institution will be crowned with a report that includes all the observations and suggestions emanating from it.”
