Ahmed Ataf is in the Iranian capital, Tehran – Al-Hiwar, Algeria

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, commissioned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has arrived in Tehran on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to a ministry statement.

This visit falls within the framework of embodying the directives of the leaders of the two brotherly countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his brother, President Ibrahim Raisi, who are motivated by a common will and mutual determination to strengthen the Algerian-Iranian cooperation and partnership relations and to consolidate the traditions of inter-deliberation and political coordination on issues of common concern at the regional and international levels. .

During this visit, Minister Ataf is expected to hold bilateral talks with his Iranian counterpart, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, and to be received by the Iranian higher authorities, as stated in the statement.
