Ahmed Ataf receives a phone call from the Saudi Foreign Minister – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, received a phone call from his brother, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, who congratulated him on his appointment at the head of Algerian diplomacy, wishing him success in performing his duties.
The call constituted an opportunity to review the Algerian-Saudi relations and what distinguishes them from a historical balance that abounds in the best forms of brotherhood, cooperation, solidarity and mutual support between the two brotherly countries and peoples. The two ministers affirmed their aspiration to work together to ensure optimal preparation for the upcoming bilateral events in service of common goals in the political and economic fields.
The two ministers also noted with satisfaction the great agreement between the positions of the two brotherly countries on the most important files of common interest at the regional and international levels, while emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance joint Arab action, especially since the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will take over the presidency of the Arab summit from Algeria during its hosting of the upcoming summit in Riyadh.
