Ahmed Ataf urges the intensification of exchanges and visits between the Algerian Parliament and Mali – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Ataf, stressed during his meeting with the Speaker of the Transitional Legislative Council of the State of Mali, Colonel Malek Diaw, about the need for talks to strengthen bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening them, especially in the parliamentary field through the establishment of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, and the intensification of exchanges and visits between the two legislative institutions at various levels to contribute as an important tributary to the Exploring and realizing promising prospects for Algerian-Malian relations.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Ahmed Ataf was received this morning from Ahmed Ataf, by the President of the Transitional Legislative Council, Colonel Malik Diaw, accompanied by a group of Malian representatives who are members of the Council.

The two parties discussed the role of the Transitional Council in embodying the financial national entitlements related to the conduct of the current transitional phase, as well as developments related to the implementation of the Peace and Reconciliation Agreement in Mali emanating from the Algeria track, as well as the prevailing situation at the regional level and the role of the Joint Operational Staff Committee (CEMOC) in facing the threats posed by it. The spread of the two scourges of terrorism and international organized crime in the region.
