The Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, today, Tuesday, praised Algeria’s efforts in supporting Arab causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.
In a statement after his reception by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the Presidency of the Republic, the head of the Saudi Shura Council said that he thanked President Tebboune for “the efforts made by Algeria in supporting Arab causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause,” as well as in “supporting the endeavors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Saudi Arabia in all aspects,” adding that Algeria “was one of the first countries to initiate support for these endeavors,” and that there is “continuous coordination” between Algeria and Saudi Arabia in this field.
Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh explained that the meeting with President Tebboune was “useful and bright,” noting that he conveyed to him, on the occasion, “the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince.”
The meeting also allowed to discuss the relations between the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the two chambers of parliament in Algeria.
The Saudi official added that he benefited during the meeting from “the directives of the President of the Republic, the bright history of Algeria, and the endeavors of the President of the Republic, the government and the Algerian people, which were launched from hopes and aspirations and turned into an action plan and program that is being implemented now.”
He pointed out that, on the same occasion, he briefed President Tebboune about “the many endeavors currently taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the political and economic aspects, and aspects that go beyond the Kingdom’s borders to Arab, Islamic and world countries.”
