Algeria condemns the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The statement read: Algeria strongly condemns the provocative step taken today by one of the Israeli occupation officials to storm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in flagrant violation of the resolutions of international legitimacy and a blatant challenge to the feelings of Muslims and Christians around the world.

This condemned and rejected behavior, which is added to the series of systematic violations committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinian people, their property and sanctities within a very dangerous expansionist scheme, confirms once again the imperative of providing the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and putting an end to these criminal practices that undermine the chances of reviving the peace path in the East. From this standpoint, Algeria calls on the United Nations Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and renew its firm and supportive position for this brotherly people in order to restore their legitimate rights, foremost of which is the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
